Introduced in September 1969, the Porsche 914 would be a sporty, mid-engined two-seater having a targa top along with a 4 cylinder boxerengine. The concept for the 550d emerged as Volkswagen and Porsche worked with to produce a new vehicle. Volkswagen would take 914 physiques and finished them as 914/4s, and Porsche would place their part of your body shells, and make 914/6s. When offered in The United States, however, all 914s could be considered Porsches.

Porsche 914 isn't like other Porsches. It's pop-up headlamps, a vertical rear car windows, along with a flat deck lid since the rear trunk and engine. It's no backseats then when you sit lower,you're practically on the ground, that is on the highway.

The inside from the 914 is very simple, not luxurious however with all essentials. There's little space apart from the passenger chair. The transmission is much like the 928's with first lower and left. The 914 includes a targa top, and like 911's, it stores within the trunk. But when you are taking from the top androll lower the home windows, the Porsche 914 is a nice nicelittle roadster.
